The Clark County Clerk and the County of Clark declare that information contained and provided through the Marriage License Search Inquiry does not constitute the official record of the County Clerk. Mailing Address for Request of Return of Overpayment Requests for a refund of an overpayment must be submitted in writing within 60 days of the receipt and include the receipt number. Overpayments of $10 or less will not be refunded by this office except upon a specific request by the customer. A number of requests for copies are received through the mail, and frequently customers will pay more than what is required by statute. Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 19 requires that we charge fees for copies and a records search. These specific documents cannot be ordered online. We can only provide marriage license copies with Social Security Numbers by mail. If you need a marriage license copy with your Social Security Number, please complete this form. Only the bride and/or groom can request a marriage license copy with a Social Security Number visible. Social Security Numbers are redacted from all marriage license copies. Also enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope so we may mail your copy to you. If you are not sure of the year, enclose $.50 per name for each name to be searched. In your written request, provide the bride and groom's name along with the year the license was obtained. The fee is $.50 for a plain copy or $6.50 for a certified copy. You may also write to us for a marriage record search: Marriage license records may be searched using our online search feature. If you need proof of marriage, you can order a certified copy of your marriage certificate online from our website. A Marriage License allows a couple to marry in the state but it is not proof of marriage.
